Upgrade to BFD2 from 1.5 or either A Johns or J Barresi exp pack 1st?

I'd like to beef up my BFD sounds and wonder what people who have used some or all of the above is the better upgrade to make first.
Thanks!

Well, they are all great. Personally, I think that the Barresi are my favorites. They were done to tape and have a sound that the other packs don't. Then, followed by BFD 2 and the Andy Johns. For the price, they are all well worth it.

I'd go for the Andy Johns first - unfortunately, BFD 2 is not ready for primetime yet for a large number of users (check out the fxpansion boards). When a solid, solid version is out, it will be well worth investing in BFD 2, but right now they have a lot of ironing out to do.

Agree with Dubnick on the not ready for primetime opinion. I'm in the middle of recording a record and the idea of being down for the count do to me introducing a new software platform oh, man I shudder to think.
I've heard great things about the barresi packs and frankly, the samples are the best I've heard from the previews of all the packs.

Had I not just purchased a new microphone for this project I probably would have bought the barresi pack in addition to my XFL pack. I was actually quite surprised at the quality of Joe's cymbals above all.
