| Finally Thanks apogee, you fixed it, no rebuilding of raid 5 array in mac pro after the wretched kernal panics. ![]() |

| i've just finished upgrading to 10.5.3 which apparently seems to fix that too (at least the kernel panics). regards |

| Gear nut | i just picked up the duet yesterday and say when i load a arturia synth such as a minimoog v, after browsing through several patches it errors and then the playback drops out. logic errors and forces me to close it. and then when i try to play a song in itunes everything is crackled and distorted only way around this is i have to reboot my machine any1 know whats causing this? im using a mac pro with 5 gb ram on 10.4.11? do i need to upgrade to leopard for the duet to function properly? edit: i also upgraded to the newest drivers edit 2: i also noticed everytime it starts a new phrase in my song such as a new synth line or guitar, it kinda clips for a second and has an annoying noise. not too sure whats causing that. i even put the latency to 256. |
