ProFire LightBridge, 96K, WC???

So I'm trying to transition to 96K. My setup is as follows:

16ch of Rosetta 800
M-Audio ProFire LightBridge
Logic 8 and Pro Tools 7.4

I've been using this setup for about a year and a half in 44.1 with no problems. But when I switch to 96K it just won't lock. I've checked all the connections. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is this functionality just broken with the PFLB? I've read the huge thread about the LightBridge, but was under the impression that Mac users were not having problems. I have also not encountered any problems until now.

Thanks!

Mine never worked correctly (even at 44.1k) unless I turned OFF S/P-dif, then all of a sudden, all was well. You should try that, who knows...

Hm... mine works quite well with s/pdif. In fact I have my Roland 2480 set up with s/pdif for routing some of those nifty Roland effects into Logic.

hmm.. I seem to remember only being able to use the Lightbridge as the master clock at certain frequencies when I had mine. It wouldn't accept WC above 48 if I recall correctly. Try clocking the Rosettas off the Lightbridge's WC out.

I've had no problems with the Profire clocking from a Trac 2, this was with the control panel open (is that the difference? maybe it needs to be open)and testing with all sample rates, this is on mac os 10.5.2

I've shared Bierce85's issue... I switched the clock to internal then would load up the session. only after the session was loaded could I switch to an external clock source.

also, try the override button under adat S/MUX mode in the lightbridge control panel. I have a friend who was able to clock externally at 96k after switching to that.

best of luck.
