Thread Starter | Wrong clock on computer - cancels my trial version
I installed the Soundtoys demo version. Upon loading PT I get a warning that my computer's date on the clock is set wrong (sometimes it resets itself). I re-adjust the date and wow, my trial version has expired! Nice job Ilok/Soundtoys |

Hullo? You're blaming a software developer because the clock on YOUR computer resets itself? Is the demo supposed to commandeer your computer's internet connection (if any) and connect to the Naval Observatory's atomic clock to correct your computer's time for you? Me, I can't imagine I'd every buy into something that required the ILok system. But what you're talking about sounds like the problem is at your end.

Try re-setting the date back until you find a date that works with the software demo. BTW, the date re-set problem sounds like the battery on the motherboard needs replacing.
