Laptop Heaven-High Plugin Count-$600 Laptop

I still can not believe it, I bought a christmas gift for my daughter (a fujitsu lifebook A6110 at FRYS 2 gig ram-1.5 centrino core 2 duo-160 Gig HD) and I started a test trying to strech it as much as posible. So far I have a proyect with 24 tracks (44.1/24bits), 24 waves C1 comps, 25 Sony Oxfords EQ, 25 Sony Inflators, 24 Waves VEQ 4, 2 Altiverbs, 2 Oxford Reverbs, 1 Breverbs, 1 Waves Doubler, 1 Waves Supertap 6, 1Waves API 2500. No pops no clicks and CPU usage is about 50%. Lets say I have a rock band: drummer (10 tracks), 2 guitars (4 tracks), bass (2 tracks), keyboards (4 tracks) and vocals (4 tracks) just in a laptop about 106 plugin instances. Sweeeeeeeeett

what a nice present! a present for your daughter, and then you start making music with it!

I also can't wait to buy a PS3 for my daughter ("Yes mummy, of course our six years old daughter loves to play Ego-Shooters!!!).
