Apogee Rosetta 24 bit (48k), as my a-d and master clock to my RME Multiface II?

Hi,

I got a bid on a older Apogee Rosetta 24 bit A-D convertor/master clock...

I have a RME Multiface II, going into Cubase SX3...I record at 24 bit 44.1..

For a decent price, would I see an improvement over the RME, in the A-D , and the clock??

Is it worth it? for say, 3-400.00?

Thoughts Slutz?

I am leaning toward getting it.....

Hi. Yep - you would hear a difference for sure.

$300? Grab it.

They usually go for around $500-$600 on eBay I think, so if you don't want to go over $400, don't plan on winning it... but $400 wouldn't be a bad deal.
