Logic 8 - Solo Safe Bug, Please confirm!

hi guys

there is this very irritating bug in logic 8.0.1. say i have solo safed a track. i then save the session, close it, the next time i open it, i deactivate the solo safe but when i open the session again, i have to deactivate solo safe again! it doesn't seem to save the fact that it's deactivated! it's so annoying and i'm sick of this shite!

this application is full of annoying bugs that will likely never be resolved.

has anybody else experienced this?

thanks

Not having the same problem here - how about the piano roll as a separate screenset not displaying MIDI notes, only after switching off the link edit button and back on again do the correct notes appear..?

Yep. And I sometimes have channels that somehow become put on solo safe by themselves, without having hit a KC or anything. I just open the song and there it is.

my guess is that at one point while mixing, you made those tracks 'solo safe', saved the session and then deactivated them later...the fact that you saved with them active brings about this bug. it doesn't seem to save the deactivated state

Same problem here... I read the following on Big Blue Lounge but I haven´t tried it yet.
Please let me know if this makes any differece.

"Logic reserves a track/channel for playback from the loop-browser ,usually #24,32,48,64.You can verify this by making some apple loop play and you will see the audio passes thru that track, ignore that track and leave it set at zero and stereo with no fx {default }.

So you need to just make your next track{s} and stay away from putting audio on this un mute-able always soloed track."
