heads up - new version of magix music studio out called 2005.

i have the earlier version and am very happy with it.
At 80 bucks i would suggest anyone contemplating
a multitrack software purchase look at this very carefully.
now 64 tracks and god knows how many other new features.
harmonycentral.com has an intro to it or else go to magix.de.
this is one heck of a value and no i'm not in cahoots with the company in any way. just a happy user.
i had a feeling it used samp as its basis as i noticed when i installed my version on my PC some of the files said samplitude.
now its right in harmonycentrals info lead in.
This product just gets better and better.

looks just like Samp, seems to have same features, including CD burning, and even some newer features that's supposed to be in Sam/Seq v 8.0. If it has ADC then....

exactly. ive been telling people for the longest time if they want samp then get music studio instead. and save because for multitracking unless your into featuritis cum lauda the 80 bucker is way more than most people need. then they throw in the
extensive midi sequencer. ive done god knows how many songs for myself and friends with the earlier version and still
have not explored all the features.
how i tend to work is use magix audio side for track laying
in conjunction with pgmusics excellent powertracks for additional
flavours of effects . so powertracks and magix together
for about 110 bucks gives me anything i could ever want to do.
powertracks has some vintage effects/compression settings i like to experiment with for different flavours.
i mean its all good these days. i prefer the way the mixer is laid out in magix however as its so logical with channel strips.
on the otherhand powertracks lets me do some things with midi i like as its midi sequencer i really like. the two packages together are phenom imho.
