Thread Starter | Choosing a Video Card for an Audio PC I will be buying (or possibly building) a new PC soon. It will be used for audio applications only (i.e., no gaming, no Internet, no video). The computer will be hooked up to at least one (and possibly two) 22” LCD monitors. My question is: What type of video card should I have in the computer? (I’m assuming that on-board integrated video would be insufficient, and that I do, in fact, need a card.) Of course, it should be a dual-head card (probably with two DVI-D outs) if I decide to add a second monitor later, but beyond that I’m not sure what I need. I’m assuming that 128 MB of memory is probably enough, or is it? Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. |
