Real Good Plugs

Hi... I would like to show some respect for the great work you have been doing emulating hardware... I think some of your plugs (especially VG-ME, V81-ME, VP-ME and VR-ME), are the best ones among VST's. They consume a lot of CPU but... I don't care... They do what they're meant to do. Keep coming with more...

P.S. I would like to donate some cash but I live in a country where internet transference is restricted... sorry for that!

Same here. I hope you one day have time to make AU versions. That would kick ass.

Just downloaded the Modern collection and Vintage for some serious fun... just like to say what good emulations they are on a visual front - that in itself is a great achievement. Will try out the sound on my system: 01X/Tracktion and post back later.

Many thanks and congratulations...the website was first-rate too.

Just spent 40 minutes using various plug-ins from the Modern and Vintage collection; I don't own and have never directly heard (i.e. only on recordings) any 'top-end' hardware units, so I'm not qualified to make comparisons.

What can I say? Well the plug-ins sound amazing! It's not often I'm that impressed by anything but I've go to hand it to the creator that, to my ears, they are outstanding.

I used the Vintage VR-ME and Vintage EQ's on a problematic track (i.e. problematic=myself singing and playing guitar) and, whilst no plug-in yet invented can improve my singing and guitar playing, the track was brought to life in terms of tone and distinction.

I appreciate there is an issue of music sounding better just through some warming amplification, addition of harmonics or compression (and these plug-ins can sure achieve that in a positive sense)...however it really is more than that here.

Just placing the Vintage EQ on the guitar with a little tweak in the mud area really sorted it out. The Vintage VR-ME across the bus really brought distinction to the total mix.

I will explore further and post some more later.

Hello Antress,
I would just like to say I am very impressed overall with all the plug-ins in your collection. They all are very responsive and sound really good. I will have to say the UREI 1176 and the Fairchild emulations don't really sound or react like their hardware counterparts. But this being said I think they are still very useful. The Neve emulating eq's I think are absolutely amazing, extremely responsive acting more like analog eq's and very nice sounding. They do not produce a brash high end like most other eq plugs. I would even be as bold to say that they sound better then most Waves eq's including there SSL eq's. I have never heard the Waves API collection so I couldn't make a comparison there. I have tested all of you plugs, and all in all i think they are all really well done. I think the UREI 1176 and the Fairchild needs a lot of work and maybe clean out some of the distortion in the LA2A. In my experience they really don't start to distort until you get it to about +8, but they are still very nice. The only real down side to your plugs is that they are very, very cpu heavy. Is this something that you are working on in your next versions. I am going to in the near future to do in entire mix with nothing but your plugs. I will post a link when I am finished. Anyways, thanks for the great plugs and I am definitely going to donate some cash in the near future. Thanks a lot.

I'm downloading these now. Anyone compared them to the UAD and Waves Neves as far as their Neve eq?

Even easier than turning to AU's is to just turn these into Mac compatible VSTs

Then we can use our converter that we all love

So please Antress, please see if you can make the VST's Mac compatible!

Thanks

PS If you want people to click on the google ads, make more text on the page about sound plug ins so that google will give you better ads
