| N E 1 Try Amplitude? Sounds Great actually. Being a "tube" nut (changing tubes, biasing amps, owner of Groove Tube Solo 150), I have Guitar Rig, Amplitude 2, Line 6 $99 dollar guitar port, and a few others)... Out of all of them, I think the Amplitude sounds the best - not to impressed with Digi's new offering (sounds rather stale as does the Vox device), but for a plug in, I think it wins hands down. The guitar port is pretty good for NON re-amping sounds, but the AMP2 is just as good and you can re-amp, plus it really does respond to playing and is very musical. Also, FWIW, I think the best NON AMP is the TECH or NY TECH guitar rack - can't remember what its called but sounds really good, although not a trick pony, its probably the next thing on my list. What say you. M-E-R-R-Y C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S and Happy Hanukah to those that celebrate. |
