Thread Starter | Bit Crushing plugin?
Anyone know of an RTAS/TDM plugin that will do a good bit crushing, or simulation of sample rate mismatch?

What do you use that TBK2 plug on J-UK? I use the logic bit crush with varying results.

On sampled drums usually straight on the kick track to get a bit of sheen - don't really work on clean 909 type kicks tho. Works really well if you wanna put a bit of "top" on a bass but don't wanna use a dist. On more extreme settings the logic one is great but it can't do subtle stuff like the tbk can.

Lo-Fi is pretty cool. Back in the OS9 days, there was a really cool plug-in by the company Arboretum called Decimator. It was an audiosuite plug-in that just handled bit-reduction all the way down to 2 bits. |
