rebuild plug-in cache?

I downloaded the trial version os the Roger Nichols plugins. I can't figure out how to make them work. Could they have possible made something more convoluted than waves?

I emailed their tech support and they said I need to have then authorized, and then I need to rebuild my plugin cache. I replied asking what a plugin cache is and they said to read the manual for my host. It's not in the manual.

Do you guys have any idea what they might be refering to?

I am on Nuendo, Wavelab, and Vegas. This is the first time in 8 years I have had a problem installing a demo.
