hi guys the day i've been waiting for. i've been keeping tabs Voxengo waiting for the day that they release MAC AU compatible plugins and the day has come Voxengo Download Page they've been porting their libraries over to a new platform to make the development of the dual platform plugins easier and this is the first of their range to be fully ported i hope Aleksey doesn't mind me announcing this here, if so apologies but this news just has to be shared! enjoy  |

| Voxengo Overtone GEQ
I just DL-ed this plugin. Its amazing. I cannot believe its free. Its like xmas for me, I've been looking for something that does something along the lines of the brainworx mastering plugin bx_digital ($600) after I saw how the Freemasons (remix duo) used it on their output bus to get a wider mix. Essentailly allowing you to eq the stereo info seperatly from the mono (MS Eq-ing). Pretty simple principle but amazed how few plugins that do this 'simple' task. Even with the waves stuff you need 3 plugins to convert stereo to ms and back. And never liked the results. I always thought that there was a limit to what I could do to master my tracks at home and then started reading about MS Eq-ing. This plug is childs play. Plays nicely with the waves linMB and C4. So glad they're porting plugs over to mac now. Give it a go and try the stereo sheen.... |
