i have till dec.20th to do this but i dont know if i wanna spend $1700 (thats with tax and the production kit).I have a mpc 1000 and a mic for vocals everything else i do in the computer.The mbox2pro is perfect for the 1000 cause it has 4outs but i would have to take stuff out to plugin the mic.So i wanted to get sumthin that would have everything pluged into one machine and have controls so i was interested in the 003 console.Then i heard everyone clown on the converters and all that crap then the black lion thing which cost even more money.So im working day and night to buy this thing by dec.20th but now im thinkin i dont wanna spend all that money so i might settle for less and get a mackie control pro instead plus i think the mbox2pro is really cool for what im doing and it has the phono input for my record sampling even tho i sample straight into my mpc 1000 running through a eurorack 802a but that option is always open. i actually found the production kit online,ive upgraded to 7.4 and i have all the plug-ins i need.the 003 would come with a ilok which i already have and it's a pain to setup and i would prolly have to transfer to the new ilok i dont wanna do that.After alot of thinking im gonna roll with the MCU. im pretty comfortable with my setup the addition of a control surface will improve/change my workflow and i use reason 4 with is also compatible with the MCU and it will be availble after dec.20th lol.So now i will have a little extra money which i plan on puttin aside for a sputnik mic and buy that once my production album gets done and i will have a head start for a new mic pre once i have all these pieces my setup will be complete unless my computer goes out so ill be praying every night.Ill keep in tune and let u guys know my thoughts on the MCU once it arrives PEACE YALL.
