Help:: Anybody out ther get RME HDSPe working with Power PC G5?

I just bought an RME HDSPe card (works with the Multiface and Digiface) and they are claiming that with a firmware update (that must be done on an Intel Mac or Windows Machine). The card will work with the power PC G5 Quad using the 1.6c driver. Is there anybody out there who doesn't work for RME that can confirm that this works (well)? Theoretically it should provide super low latency but they are not officially supporting it while claiming that it works so I would like a second opinion please. Please confirm this if you can!!!

Thanks

I just purchased a Mac PPC Quad G5 2.5Ghz to use with my Multiface and started reading about the driver issues with the new PCIe card I'll have to purchase to run it on the new Mac. Could you clarify your post? Is there a firmware update available for the PPC Macs with PCI Express slots that will allow the currently available drivers to work on the PPC/PCIe Macs? Have you been able to confirm? Is your system running? Thanks for any help.
