DOES ANY BODY?

here have a problem of geting their mix the way they want it then ready 2 export and the meter is cliping?

well if you have a mic pre send the signal out then rought it back in makes it sound less digital and over tracked.

i use a avalon 737 using to mono tracks then render that to wavelab!

ps any one know how to find and ajust the rms?

That's really bad advice - if the meter is clipping then something (probably the master fader) needs to be turned down.

In pricinciple there's nothing wrong (and lots to recommend) about sending mixes through outboard gear...but not for the reasons you state (and also, you wouldn't use the compressor on your avalon in this manner - that could wreck the stereo image).

FreeToMix, as others (and me) have suggested, you need to do some serious reading before asking so many newbie questions, and certainly before posting advice like this!

Don't mean to sound harsh...I hope you do this and then come back with some good questions and advice!
