| Gear interested | hello my name is Paul Naegle aka "King's Army". in Chandler, Arizona. My situation i need help with troubleshooting is: I recorded my vocals into a mono track and stereo track and they monitored very strong in signal strength on the VU. now when i goto play the vocals track back it's very weak on loudness/volume. Simply all gain settings and channel faders in my Software or Mixer hardware are always set to optimal O unity ... to dig a bit of red then back off as normal with eq's or the gain. Whats the problem here? i did not have compressor on it while recording... it was plain and simple for this recording. Although as an extra * does any suggest using compressors on vocals during recording , should i use the Gate on it as well to cut on any sounds after any littel vocal bits.? thanks so much, Paul pdnmusic@gmail.com

| paul. what sound device are you useing for playback. ?? need more details . if your on windows n useing on board sound. chek in windows that the "wave out" fader is not set too low. if useing another sound device, chek its user control panel. as i said more details on your set up are needed.
