Arpeggios in Logic

How do you do arpeggios in Logic? I've never had to, but someone asked me how to today and I couldn't help them.

Just go into the environment, create a midi object for the channel you want to arpeggiate.
Then create an arpeggiator object and connect the midi object to the arpeggiator.
You can use the arp object in the arrange page.

Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy...

But bear in mind that the sequencer has to be in play to hear it.
