Is there a decoder plug-in available for any format for Dolby A-type NR? thanks.

If you have a SIR (free) or other colvolution plug, you can make an impulse of the eq curve of the noise reduction. Even easier, just use an eq plug an estimate the high cut. If you run a sine sweep to tape you can figure out where the pre - boost is.

What about compression/expansion? seems to me that a fixed band NR like a-type might be approximated easily with a multiband comp/expander like Waves C4, but I was wondering if there was specifically a plug in that is designed to take the place of a hardware decoder like a Dolby cat. 364. I have a pair of 364's w/cat.22a's , but their age and condition makes their operation questionable. the cat 109 meters aren't working, so I can't even accurately set reference level... thanks
