Thread Starter | M/S in Garageband?
I was wondering if M/S was possible in Garageband. I'm stuck at the phase inversion part of the process. Any ideas on what to do? Would an upgrade to Logic Express or Pro (Studio) help? Thanks |

i believe you just duplicate the "side" track, flip the phase on the duplicate, and pan one hard left and the other hard right. so, it's actually 3 tracks total.

Right. How do you flip the phase in Garageband? Is is possible?

ok, i just checked my copy of garage band (1.1) and it doesn't seem to support phase reversal on tracks. i don't know if the newer versions do or not. if they don't, i'm assuming that you can use an AU plug-in that allows phase reversal on the particular track you want to flip. this freebie from sonalksis should do the trick Sonalksis - Quality Digital Audio Software |
