Simple software for a civilian

anyone know any ridiculously simple PC based recording software out there? My landlord wants to record 100 hours of cassettes and LPs into his computer to make CDs. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thanks!

CD Wave - Index

completely uncrippled shareware ($15 to register, and worth it).
