| Hi Guys this couldn't have come at a better time for me, i am new to Melodyne and i have the plug version in sonar 7PE. when i open the plug and capture the vocal (main vocal) no problem, for this vocal setting the automatic pitch correction to 24% worked perfectly. however when i then close the plug (the window) and open it again it has reset to 100%??? shouldn't the setting i have selected be what i see when it opens again? or did it keep the 24% value and i am just seeing the window at 100 again as a default?? thanks for any help on this |

| Jeez, I think Melodyne has to be one the most self-explanatory processes I've used, let alone for vocal tuning! |

Still, you can bypass the algorithm by chopping the track into what they call segments. You can select the Playback Algorithm per segment (there is a "plain" algorithm which is practically a bypass). What I don't know is, 1. whether the change of the Playback Algorithm (and thus its changing effect on your high frequencies) is disturbing, and 2. whether this segment thing is available in the Melo Plugin (I use Melo Studio). Cheers, Thomas | |

| Here is a short article about how I used Melodyne to grab the midi notes of an audio baseline I needed for a remix. Audio samples included: http://www.wiretotheear.com/2007/11/...f-synth-lines/ |
