ProTools HD 7.3.1 Aux latency?!

All,

I converted to PT 7.3.1cs5 mid project (dumb i know) and now my parallel drums buss is phasing... obviously this is caused by latency. its jut off by a few samples.. but it takes all the punch from the drums and makes em sound phasy.. I cant have this!! It was fine in 7.0.

Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have a fix?

I'm using LE 7.1.1 so I'm afraid I can't say what's wrong with 7.3.1, but a solution for your problem would be to insert Time adjuster on the "clean" drum buss and delay that by the amount of samples the parallel one is delayed.
If it's just a few samples it won't screw up the timing/tightness.

On ProTools HD3

Ok .... I figured it out. The problem is the master fader. For some reason putting a plugin on the master fader and routing that master to my SUMMING aux (where it all gets put together so I dont have to bounce to disk) results in phasing.

The master fader is not being compensated for when sent to the aux.. this did NOT happen in 7.0

Anyone else notice this?
