Native MBP Audio Hardware under XP

I'm soon getting a MBP and I was wondering about using the MBP's built-in audio hardware under XP (using Boot-Camp).

Under XP, is low-latency (ie: under 10 ms) operation possible with this hardware with live soft-synths or a smaller multi-track project?

Are there ASIO drivers that work for this hardware in XP? If not, has anyone tried using ASIO4All in this context?

It would be useful to me not to have to rely on external hardware for field composition or casual rehearsal capture.

TIA

With a mackbook and 2gigs of ram I get crackles non stop. Pretty horrilble for audio work. Xp runs like a pentium 3 for me wit my macbook.

This isn't completely an answer to your question, but fits the title of the thread. I use a MBP with Parallels and not only can use my internal sound without a hitch, my Digi002r works great for regular playback of stereo audio.

MBP 2.16 C2D 3gigs 120gigHD.

So you're running PC audio softwares in Parallels and using the core audio drivers for them without a problem? How's the latency? And out of curiosity, what PC audio programs are running smoothly this way?

Thanks!

with my MBP running XP nativley via bootcamp it runs just like a normal core duo pc, I can use the asio4all driver no problems at the lowest setting.

But running via emulation with parallels its much slower as expected, and not much use for real multitracking.
