External interface for input, built-in audio for output?

I've just installed Logic 8 on a secondary computer - an iMac - for occasional bits of programming when I don't want to fire up my big rig. I'd really like to have microphone input from the attached MBox but use the built-in output of the iMac. Is this possible?
