Cubase --> Logic Pro = Missing Features?

I may go from Cubase SX3 to Logic Pro -- but it seems that Logic lacks two features I use all the time in Cubase:

1) Can I insert new MIDI notes from the clipboard into the middle of an existing group of notes -- while automatically pushing the existing notes forward? (Just like you insert a word in the middle of a sentence in a word processor?)

2) Can I color code MIDI notes (i.e. C=red, B=blue, etc.)? According to the Logic manual, color coding seems to be restricted to showing velocity.

Have I missed something? Obviously, you get some and loose some when you change platform, but these are essential to me.

1. Yes. Check out the options in Copy Midi Events.

2. No AFAIK in the piano roll editor, yes in the Score Editor.

1) Thank you -- that's really great!

2) One out of two is OK. Logic Pro 8 ordered...

I'll keep Cubase because of the colors, though.
