Thread Starter | Drumagog to Midi to Drumagog latency issue
I got an audio Track (the original BD track). I put Drumagog into this track. I enable the midi out (internal, ch1, c3). I create a midi track and use Drumagog1 as midi input. Than i create a second audio track. I put Drumagog2 into this track and enable midi input (internal,ch1,c3). In the midi track i use Drumagog2 on output. My DAW does ADC (Cubase SX) and i use Drumagog fixed latency. The problem: The Drumagog2 Sound is later. My original idea was to record the midi out of Drumagog 1. Than i wanted to do some midi quantisation and than use it in Drumagog2. When i looked at the recorded midi data, i recognized that the midi events some millisecond before the real event. This was before i tried the fixed latency mode. In fixed latency mode its much closer to the original, i would say it matches perfekt. It seem to really snap onto the real attack... This was my fault first to not use fixed latency, but well, i wonder why i cant do the midi thing. Any idea? |
