syncing logic and protools

i've abandoned my mpc 2500 in favor of logic 8/battery!!!.

this is my new setup. 2.3 gig macbook pro running logic 8/battery>>m-audio firewire 1814, clocked by apogee ad16x(sounds and works waaaay better than i expected from m-audio)>>api 3124>>apogee ad16x/pthd.

the m-audio piece is midi'd to my motif xs so i can sequence and edit it, but the board's playback is running thru the api and apogee as well...

here's my dilemma......
I want to sequence my motif along with my logic insts/drums and record it all into protools, i don't want to record audio in logic just yet, nor bounce my individual tracks from the logic mixer and import them. i need to find a way to sync the record function of protools with the playback function of logic

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

I'm on HD with a MIDI I/O, not the M-Box, but that's how I do it. It shows up in the MIDI I/O setup, you set PT prefs to send MTC through it, then set Logic's sync protocols.
thanks for the advice, i'm checking into that right now, can it be sent via usb? i don't have any more midi ports on my firewire 1814, the usb midi connect between my motif xs and logic caused some pretty crazy feedback, so i had to use the only midi i/o i had available

looks like my usb cables only run one way, so i'm gonna need a midi interface to really get some more ports working! i had big plans for the iac thing!!
