Logic Pro 8 and Waves Plugins

I've tried to find any info about Waves and Logic Pro 8 but haven't seen this being discussed yet. (Sorry if I've missed out on any of the million posts about Logic 8... ) I haven't renewed my WUP and I wonder if it will work just fine with my installed Waves plugs (Platinum and V-Series, latest versions). I would hate to have some nasty surprise after I've installed it...

I've got Platinum + V, API and SSL...works perfectly.

Actually there was no plugin suprises whatsoever.

Yep... I have Mercury and SSL and all passed validation with no issues. No new versions needed on my end.

Everything is fine except some strange Dropouts with the Renverb/Native.

I have SSL, V-Bundle, Musicians Bundles, L316, Masterbundle

Hey all, I realize this thread was posted awhile back but I just intalled Logic 8 express and my waves ssl plugs are not passing validation, I have version 5.7.0. What versions of logic, osx, and ssl are you guys using?

Ummm, u guys who have the Waves Bundles, how much does ur annual WUP amount to ? I honestly have a hard time resisting Waves, i prefer native plugs and want to buy the SSL, Maserati bundles etc but am scared of the WUP. I own Renaissance Max and havent paid wup in 2 yrs so its at the full $200. How do they calculate if u have more than one bundle, do u get any discounts at all ? How have u justifed the yearly WUP to ur wives ???

There are posts on this subject but I'll repeat what I know.

The max is 200 for everything but you can get a discount through your Waves dealer on the WUP.

I just installed logic 8 express and my waves ssl plugs did not pass validation, have any of you had this happen? they work fine in DP 4.61. The version number for the ssl is 5.7.0. I'm running os 10.4.11. My Mach 5 (1) does the same thing...

5.9.7 worked fine here with Logic 8
