HELP! No Reason in Pro Tools!

Hi,

Got a Mac Pro on Friday and have spent the last two days setting up PT Le 7.3.1cs4 with Music Production Bundle.

Have downloaded and installed all the latest available versions of software and plugs.

All the MCDSP's, Waves, Stylus and several wrapped VTS's show up as they should load and work with no problems but Reason does not show up under instruments as it should.

To date I've been using PC's for production - This is my first Mac in the studio. Got myself a Macbook for xmas last year so I kinda know my way around.

Anyone ever experienced this?

I believe you have to boot up Reason separately, then it runs through PT, you should have it in your apps, or on your dock, boot that up, and then see if it shows up in PT.

No, it should show up in instruments, regardless.

Happened to me, but I just reinstalled Reason and it worked. FWIW, it happened after I switched to PT7 (worked fine in 6.9.2).

Ah yes, you are correct sir, it does show up, and boot up on itself. My bad.
