Redmatica KeyMap 1.5 Released for Logic Studio!!

Keymap

Looks like it has a lot of new functionality with Logic 8....
Quote:
Keymap 1.5 integrates with Logic Pro 8 so that you can use it as an additional editor for your EXS24 instruments from within the Logic 8 environment without having to load/save files and refresh menus.

With this new feature, the combination of Logic and Keymap offers the most sophisticated sampling environment ever.
This is incredible!

I may on occasion talk about some of the products I am a dealer for in my posts.. and that's OK! I sell them because I like them. Not vice versa. It's more fun to talk about things you know and love, then things you don't.

TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS?????

Man, that is more expensive than the Logic update.
I'll pass and stick to Kontact.

$285 seems like a lot of money now that Logic is $499...

But, it's worth it for me because of the functionality it brings to the table. You can't do this stuff in Kontakt.

I'll bite the bullet and purchase Redmatica when I get LP8. I'm just glad the price of Logic was halved because now I'm still only out less than a grand for both. I guess the thing about Keymap that I'm drawn to is the power and ease of use it seems to offer. When I look at it $285 only represents a couple of days of work. If Keymap saves me the equivalent of "days" a year it pays for itself rather quickly. Mind you I'm not running a studio but just doing my own stuff but time is precious because I'm NOT working with Audio and Video for my day job.
