Thread Starter | What is a Good Spatial Enhancer? Hey, I am mastering the audio for a live DVD For a band. The audio is ok, but I think if it is going to be a dvd, I would want to use something like a spatial enhancer to create a more 3d image. Tell me your advice. Thanx. Lates jc |

| Hardware: Desper Spatializer (the 8 channel joint for your 5.1 uses, or a couple of retros) Berhinger Edison (about $75, really does sound great. One of the most slept on pieces in the world IMO) TDM plugs: Spaitalizer A3D Q Sound (Q Sys / Q X) I'd recommend a couple Edison units, mainly because the Desper units are difficult to find, and much more expensive. |

| I wonder what the best choice is at a software plug-in level. |

| The retro gets my vote. I love it on strings that I want to convey emotion, but still stay the hell out of everything's way (and is still happy in mono/alarm clock/phone hold music/prison radio land) |
