Thread Starter | Looking 4 Nu Audio card mabye?
Hi everyone!!, I just built a q6600 quad Duo, 4 gigs RAM etc... Running Cubase SX3 , 3 UAD-1 cards.. I do dance music with alot of LIVE instrumentation..(latency a lil issue)... I have a original MBOX1 .... this new computer has gotten the latency down OK... BUT can it be improved? will buying a Focusrite saffire 26io or a RME Fireface Blow the MBOX 1 latency away? is it really worth it? HELP SLUTZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

this site is VERY USEFULL...has a analyzer for sound devices plus lots of user comments on sound cards you might find usefull. Test Results. Audio Rightmark esi juli claims 1.5ms latency. its mentioned on the site. might be usefull to look at . but theres a huge raft of devices. ive always fancied a lynx myself. but other priorities.

RME fireface is great very fast and reliable. and you will get very low latency with the computer you have. |
