is your logic 7.2 inside the application folder or did you move it into a different folder?
For the updater to work it needs to be in the applications folder!

Whats that red text in the background of the first picture?

Exactly! Disk Stream manger is a Digi piece of....err...software that is known to be buggy.

Take your Digidesign and Logic preferences to the desktop and rebuild your permissions.

Looks to me like you are trying to upgrade to 7.2.1 from 7.0.x or 7.1.x. Did you ever buy the 7.2.0 crossgrade from Apple?

If not (and the second pic kinda suggests you were looking for it), you're going to have to go on eBay and see if you can find a copy; Apple aren't selling it anymore, which is a massive pain, I know...

...which adds to the speculation that Logic 8/Logic X is just around the corner

thanks,

i will look at these things
that apple itself offers no info is simply insane - that a necessary crossgrade is
simply gone - it is unfortunate that although i have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on their computers and logic - there is ot even a phone # that i can call !

thanks,

be well
