Cool dry recording sessions needed to practice mixing on my PC

Hi guys ..
I wonder where can I find dry recording sessions (multi- tracks) ..
such that I can import the files into Nuendo and enhance my mixing skills.

thanks a million.

I don't think you'll be able to get any mate. you have to create your own. Everyone keeps there stuff under lock and key and everyone's recordings can vary. For example if you have awfull recordings that are basically ....crap in every way, you'll be trying to "polish a turd", you won't get anywhere. If you have good recordings, mixing will be a rewarding experience.
Either way, you need to make your own mate.

Best of luck

Thanks for your reply Ben .. its funny that I am not able to find even a tutorial course which contains tracks .. the only one I know of is made by WAVES .. the plugin company .. and its of a good value .. if you use the WAVES plugins .. but beside that .. I can't find others..

here you go

http://www.realworldremixed.com/index.php

They post songs to remix and competitions all the time. Peter Gabriel's own shock the monkey was a month or 2 ago. never gotten around to doing them but download them all the time.

Goodluck and post if you find any more sites.

Digi had some of the NIN songs a while back but they were practically done and just pushing faders up seemed like.

Cool got it .. thanks a lot

thanks a lot guys for your valuable tips ..
the Peter Gabriel stuff is really good .. even though all the drum tracks are combined in one.. still you can do something with it.

I will post updates if I find more sites..

Smile The answer to your question:

Hey man,

I joined gearslutz.com just to quickly answer your question.

I had the same problem as you a few months ago.

If you want raw tracks to practice mixing go to:

ccmixter.org

it is free and all audio falls under a creative commons license.

Now go play ,
