Thread Starter | Latency firewire vs PCIe w/mac pro
I currently have a Mac Pro 2.66ghz w/5gb RAM, and a Metric Halo 2882 w/no DSP. Was considering going the Rosetta 200/Symphony PCIe route. Anyone know what I can expect for latency? Would it be noticeably better than my MH firewire box? I already know I prefer the sound of the Apogee converters, however this move is mainly an effort avoid as much latency as possible. |
