| how do you clone a hard drive?
i want to transfer the info i have in my G5 from one computer to another. how do you "clone" a hard drive? do i use disk utility? etc. thanks in advance |

if you use ccc you'll have to boot on to another drive to image your system drive. You can just use disk utility to 'restore' your system drive to another disk without having to boot from another start up volume. Just go into disk utility and select the restore tab, then select your system drive as source and your new drive as destination. Will. |
