| EuCon MC Controler Hey guzy! Been googling all around to try to find out how much normally a Eucon MC controler cost and no success? Anyone who own one can share the start up price for the basic one? Thanx Or if anyone could suggest a equivalent that does the same job and has almost same functions but that cost a bit less? Thanx |

| They usually run from 15 - 20k i believe. Not cheap but I've seen some post guys FLY on those things. Hope that helps. As for cheaper alternatives, well it's got so many uses so depends what exactly u need. |

| Thanx for the reply Quote:
Thanx for taking the time to respond.. So the small one (MC) sart at 15K? How so does it come with something else then the controler itself? Wow thas pretty xpensive. Well jusst looking for a nice controler that has Recall/Save presets/Automation, flying Faders etc.. etc.. u know for my mixing. Maybe i should check out the Tascam, would that be a good option. Does it work well with Nuendo and all major DAW's? Thanx again for your time EDIT: I guess the Tascam 2400 is not a good choice because i just read a feedback of a user and i dont think i'll put my hands on it, but an equivalent like this one would be good, here is the link in case other fellas had or wanted to purchase the Tascam 2400, be aware: Tascam US2400 USB Moving Fader Controller from zZounds.com Last edited by Solar; 8th July 2007 at 04:41 PM. | if you want mainly fader control, the Euphonix MC is way overkill. You'd be fine with the usual MCU + expander situation. System MC's have Eucon protocols with major DAWs that allow them to integrate at a crazy level but if the workflow isn't for you and if you're doing heavier editing in a post environment, yes the 15k can seem rather steep. I don't believe the US2400 is currently still being supported but I could be wrong. the euphonix site does do a great job of breaking it down so if you're still considering something in that pricepoint, it's a great option. http://www.euphonix.com/video/mc_sys...epth/index.htm cheers. |

| Thanx!! So i understand your last thread, you're suggesting the MCU is this the one from MACKIE? If it is.. i simply hate the look of it. But thats just me.. maybe i will be thinking of the new Frontier design Tranzport even if it does not ahve the faders control etc... thanx man!! i'll keep on looking |
