Your favorite VST distortion plugin for Parallel

Pretty straightforward.

I own Antares Tube..it's nice if you boost it about 3b and put it in the first slot of the snare chain for example..but it doesn't really seem to do what I want on it's own bus.

Basically I want a plugin that I can put on it's own bus and send everything to. Something that will really add some nice character to the mix. I have tried The Cubase plugins also and Izotope Trash..maybe it's a settings thing for me.

How do you guys go about this?

Awesome man..if it sounds warm, then I will be happy. The harshness of the plugs I was mentioning was killing me.

Do try out the demo of Izotope's Trash,

It's a bit overwelming with all those parameters, but it makes sense if you deal with it "block by block".

It Has: Compressor, Pre filter, Dual-Distortion module (also multi-band distortion if you wish), Post Filter, Box (cab and other impulses), Buzz (an Amazing analog delay section).

Its capable of subtle to death! delicate valve/tape harmonics of full on guitar amp simulation. sometimes I use it for the just the delay module which is awesome! Also its 64 bit and the distortion is up sampled (optionally)

jeez I sound like I work for 'em don't I?
