PT LE: NO Low Latency Monitor W/ Clock Sync?!?!

I finally had the time and equipment to mic drums and amps at a local jam space and get a great setup with my new Digi 003r, the band is ready, but I can't get the Low Latency Monitoring Feature to work while I have Word Clock sync. I did not for see this problem, I expected the 8 inputs from my Digimax LT and 8 inputs from my 003r to all have low latency monitoring so I could record a ton of tracks on a shitty laptop using a big buffer. I am hoping someone can tell me I am missing something here.

When I have no word clock sync of any kind with the 003r as in, Digimax is off, clock set to Internal, I have low latency monitoring fine. As soon as I get any type of sync Internal or Slave I lose low latency monitoring. If this is the case and I have to lug a mixer to these recordings sessions than that BLOWS BIG TIME. I pretty much got this rack so I could have a small 16 track recorder that I could record totally dry onto my shitty laptop and take home the recordings to my studio and mix.

Crossing my fingers, hoping there is an easy solution rather than more gear.....it is always more gear isn't it? *cheesed*

Hi -
If you connect the LT to the 003 via optical lightpipe, and set PTLE's clock sync to Optical/External, your setup should work just fine with LL monitoring.
Are you trying to sync the LT to the 003's clock via BNC? I always just sync from the LT (LT is master) with optical cable only and it works great.
If you're looking for a way to have the 003 be the master clock...I dunno, but somebody here will...
