| PT windows Hello.. I have a silly PT problem.. I should post this in DUC, but can't for the life of me remember my password, so here it is.. We ran PT with one monitor, then bought the projector and a screen and hooked it up as a second monitor. After a while, we got a Canopus box, added another monitor, so we're running two monitors plus video on the projector through firewire. The problem is, ever since we swapped the projector and the second monitor, we occasionally lose PT windows.. It's mostly happening with the video window.. If video is not running through firewire, the video window either doesn't show at all, or shows up under the white Apple menu thingie. When it doesn't show up at all, it's got a little diamond on the Windows menu, rather than the checkmark. It happens with Transport and Big Counter on occasion, but it's the video window that really bugs me. It's a dual 2.0Ghz G5 running HD3 7.2 Thanks Dragan

| I am not sure what are you asking here but I am going to give it a go:Since you mentioned losing PT windows: Apple/Ctrl + 9 - Video If you imported you video in PT it has to show a window for it. The way we have it set-up in our "educational" suites is two monitors for PT sessions usually 1 for Edit and 1 for Mix and Right click on Video and send it through firewire to the External screens-control room and iso booth. As well it can be a bug or lose connections htrough you video device. Dean |

| That's exactly what I've been doing for a while now, but as soon as I turn off the 'video through firewire' i lose the video. No video windows opens. I tried cmd+9, tried it from the menu, tried it from the controller.. nothing. If I import an .mov, the video windows doesn't show up at all. It's a bug in OSX, happens in FCP as well.
