pro tools session. lost a session HELP

I tracked drums the other day. I didnt have my external harddrive to so I saved everything to the desktop harddrive.

I have the session file and all the audio files but when I open that particular session.. my entire sequence is gone.. I can import the files but they dont go back to where they were tracked..

the only thing I can think of is someone saved the session and deleted the edit window files then reseaved it..

is there anyway I can restore the wave files back on the edit window without freaking putting it back together piece by piece

HELP

try going to the top toolbar:

View->region->original timestamp

this should tell you the timecode/mins:secs/Bar|Beat value that the files were originally recorded at, provided new timestamps werent written to the files.

then spot the regions back to the original timestamps and viola!

EDIT: you can also try opening the session auto-backups
