| Logic & PT HD Logic Platinum To Get ProTools HD Support Mac extension coming this month (Jun. 11, 2002) -- Emagic says its Logic Platinum audio suite for the Macintosh will soon support Digidesign ProTools HD. The support will come in the form of an extension called PTHD | Ext. With Logic Platinum and a ProTools HD system, users will be able to achieve sampling rates up to 192 kHz. The PTHD | Ext also makes use of the increased I/O capacity of a ProTools HD system, and it supports a greater number of tracks. The PTHD | Ext requires Logic Platinum 5.1.3.
