Need expert computer advice on a UAD purchase...

First post so I'm making it as short as possible.

I use Mac & PC. In my current setup I need to purchase a UAD card for the PC. PC works great, so I dont want to upgrade now but its PCI slot only. No PCIe. UAD has the PCMCIA box now so I'm wondering; if I buy the UAD PCMCIA breakout box for my PC will it be as fast as a PCI card? Will it work as good bandwidth wise? I'm trying to avoid a $2,000 Magma purchase at this time. I've found PCI to PCMCIA cards for 1/10th the cost and I'm sure there will be PCIe to PCMCIA cards
any day now. Bottom line - If I buy the PCMCIA UAD box to use now, (and in the future when I upgrade my PC to a PCIe mobo) what am I looking at performance wise using this adapter with a tower?
