Hey
Im in the market for a pretty good control surface that i could use with protools but not to expensive. any suggestions?

The Command 8 can be found very cheap nowadays, especially used.

I don't know how it works with protools but it does have HUI emulation. The tascam 1082 for 600$ (which cannot be used as a protools interface just as a midi control surface for protools) is touch sensitive and motorized. Probably the cheapest option out thats fully automated. Draw backs 60mm fader reach, sucky jog will, the audio interface is useless with protools.
