PT HD Accel PCIe / Mac Pro's double-wide slots

I'm upgrading and was wondering if there are any PT HDAccel PCIe users out there that can tell me the following:

Can the 'tdm ribbon' attach to the neighboring PCIe card without problems? On the Apple site it says the Mac Pro uses a new double-wide, 16-lane PCI Express slots. I remember that on the old PCI/PCIx slots, the distance is exactly right. Any 'double-wide' I'm sure would make it impossible to attach....

Or is this just on certains slots such as the display card slot?

Thanks.

PT HD Accel PCIe / Mac Pro's double-wide slots

I just upgraded my pro tools rig G5 (HD3 pci-x) to an HD accel PCIe system for an intel mac, and used the same flex cables from the old system. You shouldn't have any problems...

the ribbons come with the cards... Yeah they fit... Stupid thing is the paper or documentation doesnt tell you how to connect em in a mac pro. Only Quicksilver and G5 schematics.

Anyway use the G5 method on a mac pro...
