how do i add midi grooves to BFD

I had this working last year, but after a reinstall I can't remember how to get my 3rd party midi grooves to show up in the bfd groove list.

I have the midi grooves in my bfd grooves folder and they have associated .bfb files, but they just don't show up.

Is there some drag and drop or import that I have to do in order to rebuild the groove database.

Thanks for any help. I am going to hunt for the manual in the meantime.

my new midi grooves are inside the grooves folder. they are not showing up in the bfd groove browser. the factory grooves do show up though.

Which OS? Do you have more than one BFD path on your system.. Check your system drive.

os 10.4.6

my BFD folder is on an external drive, this was working before and i have not changed my bfd folder. just reinstalled the plug-in.

when i reinstalled the plug-in it did create another bfd folder on my internal drive at user/documents/bfd, however these are empty folders and when i try to select this folder in the bfd options menu i get an error that says this is not a bfd folder.
