All for a REASON

Hey, here is Alécio, not Alesi who sings All for a Reason -lol
(bad joke)

a)What are the main differences between Reason and Reason adapted?

b)Maybe it is just my ears but I really did not enjoy the sound of Reason. I have seen some isolated users report the same thing, although seems to be a pretty cool tool. So, what are your impressions? BTW, I endedp up buying a slowwwwwww buggy but very nice sounding/cheap A4000.

c) I shall be using the adapted version as soon as I change to OS x/Pt 6.x, which will not happen so soon. Any special care installing all this stuff ( bundlemania CD > Reason comes with Tracks, amplitube, etc)

Thanks again
:)

reason Adapted does not let you modify the " rack"... you get one of each module, and that is it... very cool tool though, and you can apparently upgrade to the full version for only 99 bones....

hey alecio -

i've been using reason adapted for a few months now. its GREAT as a scratch-pad for getting together arrangements and sounds. the synths are pretty cool though i am greatly underwhelmed by the sounds on the "sampler." the drums (patterns and loops) are not bad. with the limited number of rack items it doesn't go much further than scratch pad for me.

i have also noticed the smallest cpu usage number you can use is 70% - which means when running ptLE alongside, things can get congested on occassion.

enjoy it!
