| Gear maniac | Stutter effect? Anybody know of a plugin that does a s er effect? Like Shareefa's "Need a Boss"For OSX (AU) (edit) I cant say s-t-u-t-t-e-r?

| I have not heard the track, but. How about drawing a nice square wave in volume automation or use a gate with a soft synth/drum module in the side chain, then you can do all sorts of wierd rythms if you want. there are also different plugins available that do sample chop and re-triggering randomly or user defined. There is a freeware available but I forgot the name, Audiodamage also has one, but I havent tried it. |

| Most studdering plugins use "random" parameters to give crazy results. There are some good ones on the PC I am not sure about Mac. You will find most artists do them manually.. it is just about learning to edit. They are not that hard and you can make them just how you want them with edits. Well.. Reaktor has a module that does something similar.. and Ableton Live has the Beat Repeater. I have not used Phatmatik Pro much and it is based on drums but you maybe can do some studdering with it on other things. Someone needs to make the word "s t u t t e r" not be a face icon. ![]() |

| A Tremolo on an extreme setting is what I use if I ever need it (benelux guys or other people who know her: Anouk's Girl has a cool bass line with stuter at the end.. ) Herwig |
